Principal

MS. ELIZABETH LINNING

I am so honored to serve Hall Elementary as principal! As an educator, it is important to me that each student knows they are an important and celebrated member of our school community. At school, I believe in challenging students, staff, and myself to continue to learn and grow each and every day.

I have earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education and a master's degree in educational leadership, both from North Central College. My career began as an elementary teacher at a STEM magnet school, where I led students in inquiry-based learning and specialized in engaging students in engineering design projects. I have previous school leadership in the East Aurora School District, where I served as the district science and social studies facilitator and also as an elementary administrator.

Outside of work I like to spend my time baking and decorating cookies, hiking with my dog, and reading mystery books.

I'm looking forward to another great year at Hall Elementary. Go Huskies!!!

Ms. KATIE CONLEY

Hello! I am absolutely honored and excited to serve as Hall Elementary School's assistant principal! I am deeply committed to cultivating meaningful relationships with our students, staff, and community. I am dedicated to getting to know our students and fostering a welcoming and safe community.

Prior to this position, I spent four years as a fourth and fifth grade teacher at Lake in the Hills Elementary School. In this position, I took on additional responsibilities such as serving as the positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS) coach, safety team coordinator, and fourth/fifth grade team leader. Following this, I spent the last two years as dean of students at Westfield Community School. In this role I was responsible for managing all student discipline, building operations, coordinating outreach events, and facilitating restorative practices between students and staff members.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in elementary education from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Arts in educational leadership as well as my English as a second language endorsement.

Outside of work, I love to spend time with my daughter and family, walk my dog, and go swimming! If we have not met yet, please feel free to reach out and introduce yourself. I can't wait for a great year as a Hall Husky!
